At Contrary Creek Cottage every guest reservation is both important and special to us. Reservations must be secured by credit card. If you must cancel your reservation, a $100 processing fee will be charged if notice of cancellation is received at least forty-five (45) days prior to your arrival date.
In the event that you must cancel with less than forty-five (45) days notice, shorten your stay, or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take full responsibility for your entire reservation. If you expect a possible need to cancel may arise, we recommend purchasing cancellation insurance which can be obtained from various providers for a minimal fee.
A $250 refundable damage deposit is required. This deposit will be kept if there are damages, missing items, cigarette or cigar smoke odor, pet odor, an excessive mess, or if disrespect is shown to security personnel. We will reserve the $250 on your credit card, but will not actually deduct the money from your credit card unless necessary.
A waiver/release form completed by each person staying at the cottage is required. The responsible parent or guardian must sign for each minor child staying at the cottage. Click here for the waiver/release form.
When groups such as college groups wish to book the Cottage, each person in the party must be at least 21 years of age or older, unless accompanied by a parent.
